Overcoming Obstacles as an Entrepreneur: Breaking Barriers for Inclusion
Monday 22nd May, 6pm
“Diversity & Inclusion” has become one of the most utilized terms in business, appearing throughout company values, panel discussions, and sales presentations. Despite the term’s presence, the idea of Diversity & Inclusion typically falls short of action.
A diverse workforce that is inclusive of all employees can pay dividends to new businesses.
As entrepreneurs, we we have to overcome challenges everyday, hiring, retention, aligning stakeholders etc. Founders within the BAME community may face further challenges such as the funding imbalance and opportunities for accessibility to develop a professional network.
This evening is set to delve into how hiring for diversity and inclusivity can help your business gain a competitive advantage and supporting growth in new markets.
